So far most Arab leaders have reacted to the Iranian electoral crisis in typical Middle Eastern fashion: they haven’t. President Ahmadinejad is a soccer enthusiast, who still plays pickup matches over on the field of his old school, Iran University of Science and Technology. So, he knows what an “own goal” is. I’d say he scored one at the racism conference in Geneva on Monday. > more.
